Welcome to Life Lenses Photography! I’m Alivia Wood, a 28 year old creative photographer, based in Southwest Florida. My journey into the world of photography began in the heart of Pennsylvania, where I grew up on a family farm surrounded by the beauty of nature. As a young girl, I often felt a bit insecure about my looks, but I discovered that through the lens of a camera, I could capture the essence of others in ways that brought joy and authenticity to life.

With my not-so-willing siblings and a menagerie of animals as my first subjects, I honed my skills and developed a passion for documenting the world around me. Each click of the shutter became an opportunity to explore the beauty in everyday moments, and I found great fulfillment in revealing the unique stories of those I photographed. My grandparents gifted me my first digital camera and I was hooked.

Now, in my late 20s, I’ve finally decided to turn my passion into a creative business. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree, I ventured into various job choices, but I never felt the same spark of enthusiasm as I do when I’m behind the camera. In 2019, I took a leap of faith and left Pennsylvania for sunny Fort Myers, where I continue to embrace my love for photography. Here, I’ve built a life filled with love and creativity alongside my fiancé, Nick, and our beloved pets, Violet, our rescue pit bull, and Kurtis, our charming Maine coon mix. They bring joy and inspiration to my everyday life.

In a world dominated by Facetune and unrealistic beauty edits, my mission is to showcase my clients' natural beauty as they truly are with subtle editing. I believe every individual deserves to be seen and celebrated for their authentic self, free from the constraints of societal expectations. My goal is to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for my clients, allowing their genuine personalities to shine through in every image.
